Vernita Sneed is a proud U.S. Army veteran whose remarkable career has been defined by resilience, leadership, and an unwavering commitment to excellence. Her journey began in 1987 when she enlisted as a Paralegal Specialist in the Army’s Judge Advocate General’s Corps. With steady determination and outstanding performance, she rose through the ranks to Sergeant First Class (E-7) and was later selected for Warrant Officer Candidate School, ultimately retiring in 2007 with the esteemed rank of Chief Warrant Officer Three (CWO3).
Over her 20-year military career, Vernita served across the U.S. and internationally, with assignments that included Fort Jackson, Fort Drum, Fort McNair, as well as overseas deployments in Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, Croatia, and Italy.
